How do I interpret the HOOS/HOOS Jr insights?

The Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (HOOS) is a patient reported outcomes measure used to evaluate the effectiveness of a total hip arthroplasty on patients. It is scored on a scale of 0 to 100 with a score of 0 representing total hip disability and a 100 representing perfect hip health.

Baseline surveys are sent prior to the intervention for hip disability (the total hip arthroplasty). In reviewing your physicians’ scores, you should expect to see a lower baseline score for patients followed by increasing scores with each subsequent administration point.
